Maintain Sections
Sections are a way to organize items within a store. Similar to going to a large department store, items can be categorized into different parts of the store based on what they are.
Example: Your store specializes in clothing. You could have a section for Mens, Womens, and Children.
1.Within Liberty select Setup > Maintain > Sections.
The Maintain Sections dialogue box will open.
2.Selecting the Add button or the Edit button will open the details of Sections. Selecting the Delete button will delete the Section.
Note: Once a Section has been used, it cannot be deleted. You will get the following error.
The Details Screen of the Sections will open.
3.Enter in the name of the Section and press the OK button when done.
You should see your newly created section in the Maintain Sections dialogue box. Press the OK button when done.
