Product Type: Whether to use the lowest level, most descriptive category level (the “leaf” category) as the Shopify Product Type. If unchecked, the Parent (Level 2 Category) is used. If checked, the 3rd Category Level becomes the Product Type.
For Example, in XBOX – Consoles – Electronics, XBOX becomes the Product Type if checked; otherwise, Level 2 Category Consoles will be used.
Alt Category Tag: When not using a one-level category structure in Liberty, adds an additional Liberty Category’s name to the Shopify Product as a Tag, rather than adding a product to a Collection of the same name. If this is checked, it creates a secondary category as a tag, instead of a collection. If it’s unchecked, this creates a secondary category as a collection.
Note: Alt Category Tag does not apply to top-level categories when using a three-level category structure
Cat Level 1 Behavior: Controls if/how Liberty Level 1 Category is used for Shopify products. Options are as a collection, tag, or none.
Note: Cat Level 1 Behavior is for 3-level category structures only.
Publish New Products: Controls publish status (visibility) of products as they are initially added to Shopify. Can be set to Always Visible (enabled), Hidden (disabled), or retain existing visibility (none).
Publish edited Products: Controls publish status (visibility) of products that are edited within Liberty. Items previously uploaded from Liberty that are updated from Liberty can be set to Always Visible (enabled), Hidden (disabled), or retain existing visibility (none).
Product Purge: How many days a product will remain on Shopify after its quantity is reduced to 0. If any value less than 0 is entered, then a product will never be purged via the automatic purge routine. Value of 0 means to remove the product the next time the purge routine runs (daily). Any value over 0 will mean keep the product available on the site for that number of days before purging. The default is 0.
Recently Reduced Days: How many days after an automatic markdown period a product will be considered and have the “recently reduced” tag. Default is 0 (meaning none). This must be an integer. The “recently reduced” tag is configurable via the “Recently Reduced Tag” option.
Publish Zero Quantity: Controls publish status (visibility) of products updated with a zero quantity; Can be set to Always Visible (enabled), Hidden (disabled), or retain existing visibility (none). This option takes precedence over the “Publish Edited Products” setting.
Product Collection Sold: Remove collections when a product is uploaded with quantity of 0. When enabled, the product will not show up under the normal “Category” collection nor the “Featured” collection even if you enable sold out products from appearing on the site. When checked, this de-associates the product from the collection when a product is uploaded with a quantity of 0. The product will not show up under the normal “Category” or “Featured” collection even if you enable sold out products from appearing on the site. Only way to view the product if the hyperlink for the item was saved.
Price Compare: If there is no retail price entered in Liberty, then use the original price as the “Compare to” price on Shopify. Default is disabled. When checked, it compares the retail vs actual price. So if an item in Liberty is entered with a Retail Price, in Shopify you will see a strike through line in the retail price amount, and next to that show the actual price. E.G $149.99 $100 Sale.
Featured Collection: Liberty items marked as “Featured Product” are added to a Shopify collection of this name, if it exists. Default is “frontpage.” Please note that this Collection must be referenced by it’s handle, found under “Edit Website SEO” area in the Collections admin area for your Shopify collection backend.
Recently Reduced Tag: Items that are considered “Recently Reduced” will include this tag name shown in the text field.
Clearance Tag: Items on clearance (final markdown period) will include a tag of this name. A smart collection can then be created to look for this tag to show all Clearance Items.
Ignore Edit Descript: Preserves the Description already on Shopify for products that are edited in Liberty and then updated online. This setting should be used if Shopify Product Descriptions are typically edited manually in the Shopify Admin Area, as it prevents these edits from being overwritten.
Liberty Tag: A custom tag to add to all products pushed up to Shopify from Liberty
Attribute Delimiter: Tags added to Shopify Products for Liberty attribute values can include the Liberty attribute names as well. This option, if populated with a character, toggles attribute names to be included. The value specified for this option serves as a delimiter to separate attribute name and value. (Example, if set to “:”, a color attribute of “Blue” would result in a Tag of “Color:Blue” rather than just “Blue”).
Acct-Item SKU: Use the Account-Item Number for the Shopify SKU instead of the Item ID. Default is False, SKU will be the Item ID. If you enable this option, then items will be pushed with Acc-ItemNum, rather than just the Item ID.
Item Date Tag: Add a tag with the format “12/05/2019” based on the Item’s Liberty Received Date. Default is Off.
Item Date Advanced: Using the value of this option, a tag will be created based off the Item’s Liberty Received Date. For example, a value of m/d/y will create a tag of value 12/25/2019. Please reference the PHP “date” function for various format options.
Note: The Item Date Advanced option will override the “Item Date Tag” option. If this option has a value entered, then the “Item Date Tag” will be ignored.
Ignore Images: Ignore all image requests. If you plan on manually uploading and updating the images through the Shopify Administration interface this will ensure images are not deleted or edited by Liberty.
Short Descript Meta: When enabled, the Liberty Short Description will be used for the SEO Meta Description on Shopify. If disabled, no SEO Meta Description will be provided and thus Shopify will use their default by looking at the Full Description.
Enable Closet: Adds products to a collection unique to the client. This would allow customers to shop for products in the same “closet”: disabled by default.
