====== Post an Entire Sale as Tax Exempt ======

Use this procedure to make all items in a sale tax exempt.

Note: See the section entitled **Tax Exempt** Accounts for information about setting up **Tax Exempt** Accounts for clients.

  - Click on the **New Sale** button. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem4222.png|NewItem4222.png}} \\ Login if prompted. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem4221.png|NewItem4221.png}}
  - Select the **Tax Exempt** button. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem4220.png|NewItem4220.png}}
  - Scan the tag of the items or type the **account number** -  **item number** format using the keyboard, and then press the **Enter** key. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem4219.png|NewItem4219.png}} \\ Items will enter the POS without any tax associated with them. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem4218.png|NewItem4218.png}}
  - Once all the items have been rung in, select the payment method, and then the Finish button. \\ {{libertyreact:lib:newitem4217.png|NewItem4217.png}}
